Busayomi, a Twitter user, has narrated how some government officials forcefully evicted him and many others from the primary health care centre in the Isheri Round About area of Alimosho, Lagos, on Friday.

In a series of tweets, the influencer said that he took his sister and her newborn for immunisation at the centre but was soon forced out by government officials who came to fumigate the centre.

He said that the officials entered the centre and, without prior notice, chased all mothers who brought their children for immunisation before they began fumigating the centre.

“They started chasing all the mothers out of the building and were still claiming right [sic] that they told everyone to leave in the space of just an hour, which they didn’t tell anybody about, but kept on with work without considering the health of the toddlers inside the building,” Busayomi said.

“I was rough-handled while trying to make a video of the whole incident, but luckily for me, I didn’t sustain any injury, and they also threatened to lock me up for making videos of what they were doing.

“My chest is also paining me cause I might have mistakenly inhaled their nonsense chemical, but I’d go treat myself now and I will definitely be fine.”
