Oluyemi Fasipe, a youth leader in Ondo State, has called for a full refund of the sum of N100,000 extorted from a young man in Ekiti by rogue police officers.

In a Twitter thread on Friday, hours after the incident, Fasipe said the police officers abducted Obadaye Ayooluwa along Ikere-Ado Ekiti Road and forced him to make a withdrawal of N100,000 at a nearby POS in Ikere Ekiti.

“Hello @PoliceNG_CRU, some rogue @PoliceNG men from Ikere division, Ekiti State, kidnapped one Obadaye Ayooluwa Emmanuel, an Ondo State youth along Ikere-Ado Ekiti road and forced him to make a withdrawal of 100k naira at a nearby POS point in Ikere-Ekiti,” he said.

Displaying the transaction’s receipt, Fasipe demanded that the erring police officers be adequately punished.

 “I am demanding a full refund of the extorted money with immediate effect, and the erring @PoliceNG men must be brought to book,” he said.
