Many travellers are stuck in the Hawankibo area of Plateau State after a fuel-loaded tanker overturned on the highway, FIJ can report.

The single lane, which extends from Antang village to Jos, the capital of Plateau State, is said to be prone to bandit raids.

“This road is not safe at all; I hate to be here,” one of the stranded passengers lamented. “I have come to pay ransom twice on this road.”
