Max Air Ltd., a domestic airline in Nigeria, has just lost Bashir Mangal, its Chief Executive officer.

In a statement, the media consultant to the company said Mangal gave up the ghost in the wee hours of Friday in Abuja.

“Inna lillahi wa inna Ilaihi rajiun. This is to announce the death of our beloved brother Alhaji Bashir Barau Mangal, Vice Chairman/ CEO Max Air, in the early hours of today, Friday, 23rd December 2022. May Allah grant him Jannatul Firdaus,” the statement reads.

The cause of the CEO’s death has not been made public.
