20.02.2022 Featured Green Africa Cancelled Ezeh Udenta’s Enugu Flight. Six Weeks After, They Haven’t Refunded Him

A man identified as Ezeh Udenta has accused Green Africa Airways of refusing to refund his N30,000 after cancelling his flight.

Udenta had booked a January 3 flight to Enugu on the airline’s website. However, on January 2, a day to his departure, he was notified of a flight cancellation due to “operational issues”.

“I ought to travel on the 3rd, but they cancelled on the second. I didn’t fly with them to Enugu. I bought another ticket from United Nigeria. I only came back with Green Africa’s return ticket,” Udenta told FIJ.

“I wrote them a mail seeking a refund. They said it would take 20 business working days to credit my account. It’s over 20 business working days and I am yet to receive my refund. Whenever I contact them, they always tell me they are still processing it.

“I tried calling them again, but it seems they blocked my line from calling. I have used other phones to call them.I can call them with other numbers but can’t call them with this line”.

FIJ emailed Green Africa for a reaction, but there was no reply from the airline as of press time.
