Oluwafemi ‘Tijion’ Esho, the British-Nigerian celebrity doctor who gave free botox to a patient in return for sex at his clinic, has been struck off the medical register in the United Kingdom (UK).

According to the UK Telegraph, the Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service (MPTS), the tribunal service for doctors in the UK, announced the decision to strike off the 42-year-old from the register on Saturday.

The tribunal’s reasons for imposing the sanction will be released this week.

This came after Esho had first been found guilty of having an improper emotional relationship that included sexual intercourse with one of his patients on April 10.

Prior to this, Esho had also admitted before the tribunal that he “behaved inappropriately” and that his conduct was “driven by sexual desires”.

Esho was said to have had sex with the patient, a popular OnlyFans and webcams sexual services provider, at his Newcastle clinic in 2021.

The Nigerian doctor had, during the period, promised to give the woman botox, an injection administered to patients to prevent their muscles from moving for a limited time, in exchange for sex.

Documents from the tribunal have it that the patient visited the doctor after hearing about a designer lip procedure he usually carried out on his rich clients at his clinics in Harley Street, Wimbledon, Newcastle and Dubai.

After their first appointment in July 2019, the two began interacting on Instagram, and Esho would regularly send her messages that contained “strong sexual contents”.

Esho was said to have later arranged an appointment at his Newcastle clinic ‘because it was quiet’ and then had sex with her there.

Esho is a celebrity cosmetic doctor who has featured on many BBC and ITV programmes. He was said to have carried out many cosmetic surgeries on his rich clients, including Hollywood celebrities, at his clinics.

Once a medical doctor is removed from the medical register in the UK, he may never be able to practice there again.
