Damilola Adeyera, an FIJ reporter, has been harassed by prison officials while attempting to capture the arrival of an accused person in the premises of the Lagos Judiciary High Court on Wednesday.

The officials who had told Adeyera not to use his professional camera within the court premises returned to harass him and seize his phone over claims that he was using it to record them.

“They told me not to use my camera and I actually stopped using it, then they returned to harass me and seize my phone, claiming I was using it in place of the camera,” he said.

They also vowed not to return the phone until he deleted every recent recording and pictures.
