Adetola Oduwole, an interior designer in Lagos, has narrated how Palmpay failed to resolve his failed N40,000 transfer despite making several promises.

Oduwole stated that he transferred N40,000 from his Palmpay app to his Microvest account on June 30 but was not credited.

He said he called Microvest to ask why he had not received the money but the bank told him they had received no money.

Whatsapp chat with Microvest

“Microvest said it contacted Paystack, the medium through which the money was sent, and they said the transaction had not been successful,” he said.

“I relayed the feedback from Microvest to Palmpay and they promised to send the money in 24 hours. But ever since, I have not got my money.

“I have sent them a mail, called and chatted with them, but they always promise to refund the money in 24 hours. Till date, I haven’t got my money.”

When FIJ called Palmpay, its representative insisted that the transaction was successful. She also provided a transaction ID they had earlier given to Oduwole.
