The imposter, who identifies as Joy, operates through a Twitter account with the handle, @gauranrty, opened in May 2022. The account directs customers to send a message to a WhatsApp number, 09071892007, for immediate response and assistance.
The handler responds to GT Bank customers’ complaints with these words: “All complaints should forwarded [sic] to our official WhatsApp page @09071892007 for instant response. Thank you.”
