Ukraine said it has killed close to 21,000 Russian troops since its war with Russia began in February.
The claim was made on the website belonging to the country’s defence ministry on April 21.
It was also stated in the bulletin that Russia has lost 2,118 Armoured Patrol Vehicles (APVs) and 1,508 regular vehicles to the war.

Russia’s other losses include 829 tanks, 393 artillery systems, and 136 Multiple Rocket Launch Systems (MLRSs).
Ukraine also announced that it has destroyed 67 anti-aircraft warfare systems, 323 military aircrafts, eight boats and cutters, four mobile SRBM systems and 166 UAV operational-tactical level.
However, Russia has been reluctant to disclose the losses it has recorded since the war started to the public.
The Moscow Times said on Thursday, that the Kremlin plans to classify records concerning casualties recorded during its war with Ukraine.
However, the Kremlin said Russia has lost 1,351 soldiers to the war on March 25. It also claimed that 3,825 troops have so far been injured. No new update has been issued since then.
